I will definitely be using Open Water Taxidermy for all my future mounts. Cayden was very easy to work with and has a very respectable turn around time. My 4 geese and 1 duck so far looked like they did when they were alive. Phenomenal

Cayden has got to be the most professional taxidermist for waterfowl I’ve ever met. From the timely turnaround, and quality work. His price is high but the duck is well worth it. I’ve had multiple ducks mounted in other states by well known people, and none match Cayden’s work.

Cayden’s work is amazing! So far I have brought him 2 ducks and have been blown away with how good they look! Cayden was always willing to accommodate to my requests regarding the mount and was always transparent about costs! He was very easy to work with and produced the best mounts!

My experience with Open Water Taxidermy has been nothing short of impressive. Cayden does a great job of bringing the birds back to life. So many taxidermists are the “jack of all trades, masters of none”….that is not Cayden. His commitment to waterfowl is evident in his work. It has been my experience that most taxidermy waterfowl guys lack the detail needed to really do these birds justice. Cayden is a hunter and you can see it in his work. He is extremely timely on his work and is easy to work with to get the pose you would want. I would 10/10 recommend OWT!

Cayden at Open Water Taxidermy did an outstanding job on my bird. He’s extremely creative and timely on his work. His communication during the process is on par and made me feel at ease knowing my bird was with him. If you want to cherish a memory through your waterfowl mount, then Cayden is your guy!

Cayden has done an excellent job on multiple birds that my brother and I have brought him! Whether it’s a duck, goose, or any other type of bird, you can count on openwater taxidermy making it look gorgeous!

Outstanding quality of mounts. Entire experience was great from beginning to end. Fast, top of the line work. 2 ducks up on the wall and plan to have many more done. The ability to ship birds was an added benefit and timesaver. Cayden was great to work with and really knows how to make birds look alive.

Both mounts have exceeded my expectations in every way possible. The attention to detail with the birds is amazing...he definitely puts a lot of effort and passion in his mounts.

Start to finish 5 star rating. I took a pintail to Cayden and couldn’t be happier. Customer service was wonderful! I’ll be back. Nice turnaround time too. 3-4 months and that’s because I asked him not get it done any sooner.

I had a blue phase Ross done from Open Water Taxidermy. Extremely pleased with finished project. Highly recommend. My next bird will be going to him as well.

Cayden’s work is top notch. He’s a very respectful individual, treats you good, ask you what you want done and keeps you updated on your trophy of a lifetime. Very good turn around time, and very good detail and work. Highly recommend him for any bird taxidermy you want done. He can make it happen.

Cayden has done multiple birds for me and my brother. They have all turned out great and I will continue to bring him more birds in the future!

I brought Cayden a snow goose to be mount in a flying pose. Unsure of how badly broken one of the wings was until it could be closer inspected, Cayden stayed in constant contact letting me know what was going on. I can say it is by far one of the best mounts in my house and has been placed front and center in my living room. Without a doubt I will be bringing more birds back to have Cayden mount. I would highly recommend Open Water Taxidermy for any waterfowl mounts.

Great service. I sent Cayden a bird from Oklahoma. We talked back and forth about it because I shot the bird up pretty good. I asked him to do what he could with it and the dead duck mount turned out amazing. Would highly recommend his work.
